Overview

This project served as my thesis and final project to obtain my degree. Its objective was to select a prominent company in the city of Bariloche and create a comprehensive and fictional rebranding of its corporate identity. I chose Tren Patagónico, a train company with a rich history and tradition, established in the early 1900s with the purpose of connecting the Argentinian Patagonia with Buenos Aires.

Connecting sea and mountain since 1993

Tren Patagónico is an iconic organization in the region, and its heritage was nearly lost during the dismantling of trains in the 1990s. My approach focused on reviving this lost heritage and developing a strong, distinctive brand identity that could endure for years to come, evoking the same level of iconic status as the trains themselves.

Graphic system

Alongside the development of all the graphic assets for the brand, comprehensive guidelines were also created to organize and classify the brand's communication based on the target audience. Distinct colors were selected for each audience, enhancing the visual impact of the graphic materials tailored to their specific needs.

In total, 54 pieces were designed for both print and digital formats, from brochures to 3D interior design, as well as the creation of an entire website and an app for a self-service terminal.

Production & presentation

Once the design of the entire project was completed, I was responsible for printing and presenting each piece. I arranged them in a room and prepared a speech and presentation to explain the project to a guest audience.

The entire project spanned a timeframe of 4-6 months, from the initial research phase to the final production and presentation. Over 30 people attended my presentation.
